In the pattern of many high level and high profile athletes, like Cristiano Ronaldo, Canelo Álvarez struck a lucrative deal – the most lucrative of 2025 – with Saudi Arabia’s entertainment project Riyadh Season.
Today, Canelo hopes to become a 2 time super middleweight division undisputed champion against IBF champion William Scull. In the house, one could observe Dmitry Bivol who bested Canelo 3 years ago via unanimous decision.
As much of the boxing world now orbits around the Riyadh Season, the universe of entertainment is aligning itself with Saudi Arabia. Expected today are not only boxing luminaries, like Anthony Joshua and Bivol, and a great undercard, but also Ronaldo and other major celebrities should be pouring into the event.
