The César E. Chávez Legacy Celebration is an annual event in Visalia, California, honoring the life and legacy of labor leader and civil rights activist César Chávez. Organized by the UFW Foundation in collaboration with local organizations, the event featured a community march, cultural performances, guest speakers, and resource fairs.

This march was also paralleled by activities in San Antonio, Texas, from the University of Texas San Antonio, a Chicano bastion for both progressive policies and education.

As the Republican controlled administration tears through communities, civil liberties and even the economy through massive layoffs, farmworkers are pledging to continue marching and calling attention to the essential role that farmworkers play regardless of documentation status.

In Delano, California, home of the very first high profile farmworker strikes in the modern era, workers are pledging to march through the community to galvanize support for workers and communities.
