Nasrallah’s powerful statements and Israel’s continuing offensive
BEIRUT, LEBANON – Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, reacted with determination to the recent explosions by Israel in Lebanon and vowed to fight those responsible. He also assured that Israel will not be able to establish its control in the northern region. Hezbollah backed up his words with actions, launching attacks against Israeli military installations near the Lebanese border, resulting in several wounded soldiers.

The origin of the beepers, walkie talkies, phones, radios and other communication devices hacked by the Israelis and detonated in Lebanon remains an enigma, as there are several accusations pointing to different locations. The Taiwanese company “Gold Apollo” has been fingered as possibly responsible, but it denied involvement, confessing that they authorized the use of their brand name on the devices but suggested that the devices actually came from Budapest.
Regardless of their origin, the fact is that these explosions have had a disastrous impact, killing 37 people and injuring hundreds more. The devices have exploded in people’s hands, in their pockets, in homes and cars, causing fires and chaos in their path. The tragedy continues to escalate and the exact number of people affected and the exact source of these dangerous devices has yet to be determined.

In addition to the devastation and physical destruction, the aftermath of these explosions also includes serious injuries to people, such as eye damage, hand injuries and even amputations. The tragedy caused by these attacks has left a deep and painful mark on Lebanon, and its effects are evident in the affected society.
Growing tension and fears of war
The conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah group in Lebanon has led to serious tensions in the region. As Hezbollah vows to resist Israel and stop attacks, missile alarms have been activated in northern Israel, raising fears of a possible escalation of the conflict. French President Emmanuel Macron has called for restraint and urged a halt to any escalation between the Lebanese government and Israel.
