PUEBLA, MEXICO – On the night of Tuesday, July 9 in Sonata, Puebla, a wave of violence rocked the inhabitants of this district. In an unfortunate incident, five armed men burst into the popular ‘Big Bola’ casino and opened fire on two of the patrons. As a result, both lost their lives due to multiple gunshot wounds. The perpetrators of the attack are still at large, while the authorities conduct the corresponding investigations to find their whereabouts.
The events occurred around 10:00 p.m. in Plaza Sinfonía, where the casino is located. According to eyewitnesses, a group of men arrived on board a red car and went directly to the establishment, where without saying a word they began to shoot at the two men who were inside.
In addition to the deceased, three other people were wounded in the shooting: two women and a man who were taken to a hospital for medical attention.
Was it a hitman attack?
While details are still emerging, unofficial sources suggest the attackers were targeting a specific individual, known as “El Jaguar. This individual, whose real name is Alexis Armado, is allegedly involved in drug trafficking and extortion activities and is believed to be associated with the Jalisco Cartel – New Generation.
