Tragedy Strikes Mexican Influencer Derek Trejo: His Mother Found Dead in Hotel Room in Mexico

The disappearance and death of Veronica de la Rosa, mother of popular influencer Derek Trejo, has generated great commotion in Mexico. Trejo, known for his teaching his lifestyle and travel content through his social networks, made it known last Monday, June 17 that his mother was missing since 10:30 am which was the last message he got from her.

“Help me spread the word my mom is missing, we are very worried, please. She was in a silver Kia with plates NTS4006. Please, as of 10:30 am was her last message!!!! The last charge on her card was for Tacubaya. Please help me, I am desperate, my whole family. I just want her to be ok” expressed the young man through his “X” account.

Journalist Carlos Jiménez broke the news on his official “X” account, writing: “The mother of tiktoker Derek Trejo, Verónica de la Rosa, was found dead in a hotel room at the Hotel Cd Real in @AzcapotzalcoMx. During the day her family released this image after she went missing in the morning. @SSC_CDMX found her. @FiscaliaCDMX investigates.”

As the day progressed, details began to emerge about De la Rosa’s movements. According to journalist Jiménez, De la Rosa entered the Hotel Cd Real alone at 11:30 a.m. where she was assigned room 215. Later that night, a man entered the room but left shortly after. At 4:15 a.m., authorities from Mexico City’s Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) found her body and initiated an investigation along with the local CDMX Prosecutor’s Office to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

As authorities work to reveal more details behind the death of Veronica de la Rosa, the digital community joins Derek Trejo in a show of solidarity and support, hoping for justice and peace in her sad loss.
