Despite the turmoil, official sources remain silent on the issue, adding to the surrounding confusion.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has been searching for Guzman, offering a $10 million reward for information leading to his arrest, further fueling speculation about the veracity of these reports. However, SEDENA (Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional) denies having arrested Guzman, adding a layer of confusion to an already tense situation.
