The femicide of Verónica de la Rosa has shocked Mexico City and has generated great commotion among the community. The death of the mother of popular influencer Derek Trejo has grabbed the attention of the media and the country in general, especially with the latest updates of the investigation showing a suspect captured by a security camera.
The tragic event began when Derek shared his mother’s disappearance on his social media on Monday, June 17. With a photo of her and a description of her vehicle, he appealed to the community to help find her. But unfortunately, hours later her body was found in a hotel in the city.
Although specific details about her death are still unknown, journalist Carlos Jimenez has revealed that De la Rosa’s body was found in room 215 of the Cd Real hotel in Azcapotzalco by employees. They had noticed that she had not left at checkout time and suspected that something was wrong.
The latest development in the case is the release of a security camera image that shows a man suspected of being involved in the death of Veronica de la Rosa. In the videos he is seen entering the hotel parking lot with the victim, approaching the front desk together and finally entering the room where de la Rosa’s body was found. The man was wearing a cap, mask, sweatshirt and pants, and his identity has not yet been revealed.
As the investigation continues, the community has come together to offer their support to Derek Trejo and his family in this time of grief. Everyone is anxiously awaiting more information about the circumstances surrounding Veronica de la Rosa’s death.
