One of the more puzzling issues behind the incarceration of the Justice 8 is the lack of coherence in the accusations from the San Bernardino based prosecutor. What, specifically, does a San Bernardino based prosecutor have to do with some controversial event in Pomona, California, a city within the Los Angeles County area.
Nicholas Rosenberg made statements earlier this year alluding to the fact. In my view, someone or some group must be overly eager to push back on Edin Alex Enamorado. In Victorville, particularly, large swaths of often violent and inebriated people can be seen throughout the cityscape, which makes it tough for me to believe that the District Attorney,Jason Wilkinson , who gets paid $194,586.01 per annum, could not prosecute a more local crime. However, political favours being exchanged in San Bernardino County are as much a part of the culture as the McDonalds museum and Albertos.
Political Vendetta – Election Year
In an election year, politicians are particularly sensitive to seem invincible. The ability to wield political influence and control during a national election year is of maximum import. Thus, groups like Justice 8 seem to upend the business as usual in the very dysfunctional county and cities of San Bernardino.
Specifically, one person with a huge motivation to get rid of Enamorado is Acquanetta Warren, the mayor of Fontana. More than anyone, Edin Alex Enamorado’s activism has embarrassed and hindered her ability to obfuscate her heavy handed treatment of Mexican vendors.
In October of 2023, Fontana’s embattled mayor, Acquanetta Warren, filed a restraining order on Edin Alex Enamorado. However, the restraining order was ultimately denied.
Thus, the recent historical record shows that one person in San Bernardino County has already marshalled the public’s resources to harass Edin Alex Enamorado. With this fairly obvious inter-county overreach between San Bernardino into LA, it seems like Warren has temporarily succeeded in pushing back against Enamorado’s defense of street vendors.
