The fight was for four rounds in the Super Bantamweight Division.

Valle faced 20 fight veteran, Tenyon Ward who seemed to give him some good looks during the bout but was ultimately dropped at the second minute of the 1st round. Just seconds later, Valle overwhelmed Ward with a great number of punches, proving both his conditioning and technique could stay intact even with these huge surges in excitement.
Just One Round
Using his long sneaky back hand, allowed Valle to connect with power throughout the fight, but with a looping shot. This was a great fight to exhibit up and coming fighters. This was one of the prominent comments from commentator Chris Algieri who noted that the punch angled ever so slightly as the right landed.
Interestingly, both fighters would switch hit throughout the fight, but Valle ultimately did the most to secure the victory.
