Recent revelations from the Jeffrey Epstein files have reignited scrutiny into the connections between the late financier and Peter Thiel, co-founder of Palantir Technologies, a company embroiled in the UK’s defense contract landscape. Critics and political activists are now calling for greater governmental transparency regarding Palantir’s contracts with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
The Associated Press reported that the documents suggest Epstein was leveraging his high-profile connections to mitigate negative public perception. Notably, meetings involving Epstein, Thiel, and prominent figures like Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and media mogul Mortimer Zuckerman reportedly took place at Epstein’s residence, seeking to intertwine philanthropy with Epstein’s efforts to rehabilitate his reputation.
The British governments are refusing to commit to an inquiry into the MOD’s contracts with US-based spy tech giant Palantir despite the web of shady connections between Mandelson, Epstein, and Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel.
Effectively, Jeffrey Epstein was a booster or promoter for the services of Palantir in wll connected circles. Thus, Epstein was in cahoots with Peter Thiel and Palantir for over a decade, yet global leadership is still using their services.
In one telling episode detailed through the Epstein files, a recording of an undated conversation between Epstein and former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak took place sometime before his death. In them, Epstein told Barak that he was hoping to meet Thiel the following week. He added that he was familiar with Thiel’s company Palantir, but proceeded to spell it out loud for Barak as “Pallentier.” Epstein speculated that Thiel might put Barak on the board of Palantir, though there’s no evidence that ever occurred. On social media, users have expressed skepticism over the government’s reluctance to investigate these ties, with some demanding that officials disclose the nature of their agreements with Palantir. Most worrisome is their incursion into the famed National Health System (NHS) where millions of patient records have been shared with the American/Israeli friendly contractor.
In effect, Palanti & Peter Thiel individually, are now being linked so directly to Jeffrey Epstein that we can expect Thiel to become even more reclusive with official channels and more aggressive through legal ones. Thiel, for example, sued Gawker into oblivion in connection with revelations about his homosexuality published in the newspaper.
