The former unified heavyweight champion of the world, Andy Ruiz Jr, 33-2-1, is now set to face Jarrell Miller (26-1-1) in what looks to be a promising fight for the fast handed orthodox stance fighter. Jarelll Miller last faced Daniel Dubois, who essentially fatigued himself landing substantive body and headshots on Miller, who seemed able to sustain any amount of punishment. However, his offense was muted by slow and powerless shots that could be a sure sign of inactivity.
Ruiz Jr. while somewhat neglectful of his own activity has been more substantive in his limited outings, with life changes being mostly on hold now for the first Mexican heavyweight champion.
Ruiz, however, has quick hands and won by wide margins against a powerful Luis Ortiz, whose southpaw stance would give anyone problems. Much of his punching power is derived from his natural ability to snap the end of his punches quickly and around the guard of much taller opponents.

Crawford vs. Madrimov: Riyadh Season
Context of Riyadh Season Event In Los Angeles, California
In yet another major event for Riyadh Season, the Saudi Arabian government backed entity is set to another high-profile event featuring Terence “Bud” Crawford, the formerly undisputed welterweight champion of the world. Crawford will make his much anticipated 154 lb. super welterweight division, potentially, making him available for high profile fights against Jermell Charlo or Tim Tszyu. Actually, the slightly less high-profile candidate to face Crawford in that super welterweight division is Vergil Ortiz who is just now making a name for himself in that category. This could also be his one and only tune-up prior to a potential bout with Canelo Alvarez.
