In a shocking discovery, two bodies of young people were found in the landing gear of an Avianca plane that arrived at El Dorado International Airport in Colombia on January 6. After an extensive investigation, authorities were able to identify the two victims as two young people aged 14 and 15.
The victims reportedly of Haitian and Dominican origin, and while the cause of death is still unknown, the incident has sparked outrage in the region. The Colombian government has vowed to investigate the incident and bring those responsible to justice.
Authorities are currently working to determine the cause of death and the circumstances leading up to the incident. Forensic experts are analyzing evidence and reviewing surveillance footage to try and reconstruct the timeline of the events. Additionally, authorities are working with the families of the victims to learn more about the victims and their possible reasons for being in the landing gear of the plane.
This is not the first time such an incident has happened in Colombia. In 2018, another young man was found dead in the landing gear of a plane that had departed from Bogotá. This tragedy has once again put the spotlight on the dangers of illegal migration and the need for better security measures.
