On various communication platforms, Donald Trump relayed that the US had attacked 3 Iranian nuclear facilities. This was after hours prior to the announcement, the US had mobilized multiple B2 stealth bombers. For many the attack stems from a desperate Trump attempted to divert the news cycle away from his embarrassing link to Jeffrey Epstein, a point highlighted by Elon Musk during their few day spat.
On his publicly traded, Truth Social, the current president is saying: “A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
The logic of attacking Iran without expecting a full hearted form of retribution. Indeed, Trump may be inviting such an attack and will likely extend the conflict into a ground war with Israel enjoying the fruits of the American sacrifice.
