Through his captivating voice and bold lyrics, Xavi, a 19-year-old Chicano artist and leader of the corrido tumbados movement, has taken the music world by storm. His unique sound, which combines traditional Mexican corridos with elements of trap, has gained him a huge following in just a short year.
Now, as Xavi prepares to take the stage at the Auditorio BlackBerry in Mexico City, fans are anxiously preparing for his highly anticipated “Poco a Poco” tour. With all tour dates selling out quickly, it is clear that this artist has found a special place in the hearts of music lovers.
Xavi’s meteoric rise to fame began with his smash hit “La Diabla,” which has racked up millions of views on YouTube and streaming platforms. But his other singles “La Víctima”, “Poco a Poco” and “Sin Pagar Renta” solidified his place as a rising star in the corrido tumbado genre.
