After Coronavirus Outbreak in Riverside, Long-Term Care Staff Quit Due To Lack of Protective Gear

On April 6, 2020, the Magnolia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center reported to the Riverside public and government that they had an outbreak of over 30 covid-19 infections through a lawyer statement.

Now, they have all been evacuated to different facilities. Per the Riverside Public Health department press release: PR,RIVERSIDE

For example, one certified nursing assistant of the 13 scheduled showed up to work at the Magnolia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, which prompted Riverside University Health System and Kaiser Permanente to send a total of 33 licensed vocational nurses and registered nurses to care for the residents at the facility. Staffing demands, however, require the patients be moved today

Riverside is now reporting more than 1000 cases of COVID-19 infections, but social distancing measures appear to be working.
