The lack of economic activity and state control over movement has led to a reduction in air pollutants. This is possibly a silver lining in the planet’s quest to remain habitable for all humans as rampant climate change related patterns continue unabated.
The January image reflects normal, near normal levels of economic activity, while the second visual shows the region with lockdown amounts of activity.
