The Breakdown in Culiacán
The rumors are further fueled by the violent events that took place in Culiacán on a fateful Friday, including attacks, robberies, and vehicle fires. These incidents were reportedly a result of clashes between two faction of the Sinal namely Los Chapitos and La Mayiza. However, messages signed by El Perris appeared after the events, denying any involvement by Los Chapitos and pointing fingers at La Mayiza.
Denial of Extortion and Theft Charges
In addition to defending his faction against recent accusations, El Perris also utilized the narcomantas to clear its name from the practice of extortion and theft. The messages, signed by Humberto Figueroa, deny any involvement in such activities and serve as a warning to those attempting to exploit the local businesses in Guamuchil and Mocorito, Sinaloa.
The appearance of these messages indicates that he remains active in the cartel’s operations and continues to exert a strong presence in the state of Sinaloa.
