On 1/15/22, a heinous crime took place: six family members including a baby and teen mom were killed in a shooting at a home in Goshen, just east of Visalia in central California. A cartel is suspected of committing the crime in Ghosen, California.
The small town of Goshen, California, was rocked by tragedy on Tuesday night when six family members were killed in a shooting at a home in the rural community.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said the victims included a baby, a teen mother, and four other family members. The ages of the victims have not been released.
The sheriff’s office said the shooting appears to be related to a cartel-related crime. The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been identified.
The shooting has left the tight-knit community of Goshen in shock. Residents of the rural town, which is just east of Visalia, are struggling to make sense of the tragedy.
“It’s just so sad,” said one neighbor, who asked not to be identified. “It’s a small town and everyone knows everyone. We’re all in shock.”
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward. They are also warning residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.
The tragedy has left the community of Goshen reeling. Residents are mourning the loss of six members of their community and hoping for justice.
