The fight will take place in Dallas, Texas, in a sold out American Airlines arena. On the undercard, Rene Alvarado who defeated popular Andrew Cancio in early 2019 will also defend his super featherweight WBA belt against Roger Gutierrez.

Curiously, the prospect will also be walked out into the ring by Canelo Alvarez whose been closely aligned with Garcia via shared boxing trainers and parallel training regimes.
