A tragic and senseless shooting rampage shook the country of Guatemala on the night of March 3, right outside the concert of Karol G. While citizens were enjoying the Colombian singer’s show, three innocent lives were taken in an unexpected and tragic incident.
According to authorities, a man identified as Christian Aroldo Heinemann opened fire on a group of people, apparently in the middle of an argument, using an unauthorized 9mm caliber pistol.
Among the victims was Diana Yasmín Chinchilla, a 31-year-old pregnant woman, who did not attend the concert but decided to listen to it outside with her two young children. Her night ended in tragedy when she was fatally shot, leaving behind her 11-year-old children. Gerson David Barrera, 21, and Angel Estuardo Trujillo, 31, were also victims of the vicious attack.
The killer was immediately arrested and taken into custody to face charges for the murders of these 3 people. We expect the full weight of the law to be brought down on him.
The concert was meant to be a night of joy and celebration, it ended up being a night of violence for no reason.
