Anticipating the obvious blowback from their idiotic push to deport all political opposition and differing cultures, the DHS has come out in full swing to navigate the blowback from the execution of Alex Pretti. Pretti, a 37 year old ICU nurse and American citizen, which given the nature of immigration raids is highly relevant. According to video evidence, Pretti was killed when he attempted to defend a female protestor from multiple Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Protestors gathered on the site of Pretti’s death. According to BBC correspondents, the federal agents antagonized protestors as they also openly mocked the death of the nurse.
Bovino Lies About
Greg Bovino, the Italian American head of Border Patrol, went on a public press conference and alleged that Pretti was carrying a firearm in his person before he was tackled and executed. However, video evidence shows that Pretti held only a camera to record the disgraceful aggression of Border Patrol agents. Pretti highlighted the 8 year veteran of the Border Patrol that he alleges shot Pretti in self defense. There is no evidence of Pretti pointing a gun towards the BP agents.
Minnesota allows residents to carry weapons legally. As he lied there motionless, several more rounds were fired and the moments before his death he only had a cellphone in his hand.
Kristi Noem Lies About Fraud
Noem has used the Somali daycare meme to justify not cooperate with Minnesota Law enforcement. In an apparent effort to rally her political base using familiar Trump-era talking points, Kristi Noem revived a long-standing right-wing narrative alleging widespread fraud in Somali-run daycare centers during a recent press conference. The claim, which has circulated for years in conservative media ecosystems, has been repeatedly investigated and largely discredited by journalists, state auditors, and court records.
Multiple reporting efforts have shown that while instances of fraud did occur within Minnesota’s childcare assistance programs, the schemes were primarily organized and facilitated by European American intermediaries and consultants, not Somali families broadly. Investigations found that many Somali providers were recruited into complex billing operations, often without full understanding of regulatory requirements, while the most significant financial beneficiaries were non-Somali organizers who designed and controlled the fraud mechanisms.
To remind her political base about some key talking points from the Trump administration, Kristi Noem highlighted the right wing meme around Somali daycares perpetuating fraud. The fraud has long been discredited and tied primarily to European American organizers. Nonetheless, Noem used the press conference to engage and revive the concept while side stepping the issue of killing an ICE observer.
