The Pentagon recently released a memorandum to legislators providing information on the three UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) which had been shot down in Canadian, Alaskan, and Michigan airspace.
According to the memo, the UAP appearing in US sensitive sites before its demise was a “small, metallic balloon with a tethered payload below it”.
The Michigan UAP descended slowly into the water after it was taken down, and the one in Alaska, “the size of a small car”, did not resemble the Chinese balloon.
US officials were uncertain of the nature of the UAPs until they could collect the debris. Moreover, the Pentagon also made it clear that there should be no presumption that the events of the last few days are linked.
China has now accused the US of flying balloons illegally over its airspace.
