To the sound of boos, Barboza scrapes away a Split Decision victory against a game Sean McComb.

The tricky Irishman, nicknamed ‘the Nuisance’, had an initially tricky style for Barboza, but McComb used his range, twitchiness and length to keep Barboza at bay during the first 2 rounds, but during the third round, Barboza was able to really connect much more to the body, with light and quick punches at the chin of McComb.

Shakur Stevenson On Barboza

On X, Shakur Stevenson mentioned that Barboza should never mention his name because of his inability to cut the ring off initially.

In Round 4, McComb was able to connect well against Barboza. These left a mouse over his left eye with good right hands and strong jabs.

Barboza Jr.’s there was plenty of body work and power shots to both the head and rib cage of Mccomb.

Even so, the performance was lackluster for some seemingly disappointed with his lack of being able to close the distance, with many declaring that indeed Sean McComb won that fight.
