Both fighters made weight easily as they set to collide tomorrow for WBO NABO Super-Middleweight Title. In the build-up to the fight, Quigley’s manager, Robert Diaz, mentioned that even a loss on Berlanga’s record would not be enough to dull his star. He noted that much of the pressure is on Berlanga to perform in front of the home crowd; home audiences can certainly be distracting for such a young potential champion.

Roberto Diaz (Robert Diaz who was formerly Golden Boy’s Matchmaker) recently clarified his involvement in the bout. In this event, he’s linked mostly to Jason Quigley, acting as a manager and support for the Irish fighter within the US.

Quigley is looking to pull off the upset, with many commentators, like Sergio Mora, saying that Quigley is unlikely to be blown out:
