Israel and Iran have recently entered into a more open conflict, which first popped off in April 1st when Israel bombed the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria.

An explosion was heard early Friday in Iran’s central city of Isfahan. That bombing was confirmed by the semi-official Fars news agency.
While they have not confirmed who caused the explosion, the US government pointed the finger at the Israeli government. Social media reports were attempting to link this to the . An Iranian army air base and Isfahan’s airport are reportedly close to the explosion site, Fars said. Global oil and gold prices rose.
The city of Isfahan was one of the several launch sites of Iran’s drones and missiles in its April 13 attack on Israel. Therefore, the motive can be relatively clear given the precedent and hostilities between the countries.
