Colombian singer Karol G has made history once again in her musical career by being the first Latin woman to win the award for best album of the year at the Latin Grammy Awards, this year the awards were held in Seville, Spain. The artist won the award for the production of her most recent album “Mañana Será Bonito”.
In addition, the artist received a second prize in the category of best urban fusion/interpretation for her collaboration with Shakira herself on the song “TQG”. “Mañana Será Bonito” has been one of the most successful albums of the year, reaching the top of several Billboard charts and receiving critical and public acclaim for its variety of rhythms and collaborations with artists such as Shakira, Quevedo and Carla Morrison.

Karol G received 3 awards on the night, also taking home the award for Best Urban Music Album for her album ‘Mañana será bonito’, her collaboration with Shakira on the song “TQG” for Best Urban Performance and Best Album of the Year.
