A 31-year-old Dominican woman, Katherine Altagracia Guerrero, was reported missing by her family in Florida, United States. However, her search ended tragically when her body was found burned inside her own truck.
According to authorities, on the day of her disappearance, Katherine was approached by a gunman in a green car behind her. A security video showed an individual with his face covered, approaching the victim’s vehicle and pointing a gun at the driver. The suspect could then be seen entering through the rear driver’s side door of the van.
The man forced Katherine to drive onto a street where there was construction in Osceola. Residents in the area called 911 when they heard gunshots and saw smoke coming from the vehicle. The van in question, a white Dodge Durango, matched the description of the victim’s car. Several shell casings and Katherine’s charred body were also found inside the vehicle.
It is believed that the victim had noticed a green car following her before she was approached by the gunman at the traffic light. Katherine even managed to make a call to her husband in which she mentioned that she was being followed by that vehicle. However, neither she nor her husband alerted the authorities at the time.
Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind this brutal attack and are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward.
