A new case of sexual abuse has shocked the community of Tampa Florida, it is about Alyssa Ann Zinger, a 23 year old influencer who pretended to be 14 years old in order to abuse 14 and 15 year old children. The woman used social networks such as TikTok and Snapchat to contact minors, she assured them that she was 14 years old, seduced them through videos and then met them to have sex and record this encounter.

This would be the second time that Zinger is captured by the authorities, since in 2023 a 14 year old minor accused her with the police and confessed that he had had a relationship with Zing, in which she had assured him that she was 14 years old and also that during their relationship they had had sexual relations more than 30 times.

Zing now faces 4 complaints from 4 different minors since the 2023 case came to light and has charges of child pornography, 2 counts of lewd lewd molestation and 2 counts of lewd lewd battery. A Hillsborough judge asked that Zing remain behind bars while the case is being resolved.

This serves as a wake-up call for parents to be aware of the risks their children face online, as social networking sites can be used by strangers to contact and manipulate minors. One of the greatest dangers faced by minors on social networks is sexual abuse. Pedophiles can deceive children, pretending to be someone their own age and even gaining their trust to then ask them for intimate images or to have a physical encounter. It is the responsibility of parents to be alert to the warning signs. Social networks are not a game.
