Mexico has announced a new initiative to address the growing Venezuelan migration on its southern border with the United States. In collaboration with major companies in the country, Venezuelan migrants who agree to return to their homeland are being offered jobs worth at least US$110 per month for six months. This new measure is part of a joint effort between Mexico and Venezuela, and follows a meeting between Nicolás Maduro and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

This new initiative by Mexico is a significant step forward in the current migration crisis and a positive example of countries working together to find solutions. In addition, this move also comes amid pressure from the United States to address the influx of migrants at the border, as the issue remains a major political issue in the upcoming November elections.

The Mexican government has not provided details on how many migrants will be eligible for the program, but it is believed that it will provide a viable option for those currently struggling in Mexico and the United States as they try to provide for themselves and their families.

With the program now in place, it remains to be seen how many Venezuelans will take advantage of this opportunity and how successful it will be in reducing the number of migrants at the border.
