This event is just one of many that have occurred in the city, where rival cartels fight for control of territory and illegal activities. Authorities believe that this recent attack could be an act of retaliation for the actions of a rival cartel.
The residents of Guaymas and nearby towns are terrified and frustrated by the growing violence and criminality in the region, these events only highlight the government’s failure to effectively combat these criminal groups. The people demand that the government take immediate and decisive action to ensure the safety of its citizens.
