Stefan Andres Correa, the 42-year-old American who was arrested at Miami International Airport while attempting to board a flight to Colombia with the intent to sexually exploit children under the age of 14 in Medellin, has accepted the charges and is now being held in a Miami jail.

Correa is awaiting sentencing for the crimes of sexual exploitation of minors under the age of 18. If convicted, he faces a sentence ranging from 15 years to life imprisonment.

During the arrest, a computer and nine cell phones were confiscated that Correa was going to use as a means of payment for the sexual exploitation of girls between the ages of 10 and 14. Among the devices seized were several iPhone models, including the 7 and 8. Also found were videos of the rapes perpetrated by Correa against the minors, as well as explicit chats where he negotiated with pimps, demanding that the girls be “strong” and not complain during the abuses.

As the case against Correa progresses, society expects that justice will be done and that Correa will receive the maximum penalty for his reprehensible acts, which have shattered the lives of innocent people and left a deep scar on society.
