What was supposed to be a day of celebration and pride for the graduating students of Universidad de Los Andes quickly turned into a chaotic and disconcerting event. According to witnesses, an argument over a parking space quickly escalated into acts of violence and chaos. One driver, in a fit of rage, intentionally crashed his car into another vehicle and then proceeded to run over the passenger.
The situation did not take long to become violent, as the driver who generated all this chaos, was totally out of control trying to escape from the scene. An act that caused chaos and panic among the spectators.
What was expected to be a day full of celebration and pride for the graduating students of Universidad de Los Andes, turned into a disturbing display of aggression and intolerance. It is reported that the two individuals involved in the incident were parents of students graduating that day, making the situation even more unnerving and concerning.
The Secretariat of Mobility has announced that the individual responsible for the accidents has been identified and will be sanctioned with a comparendo and will be placed at the disposal of the public prosecutor.
