Mexican singer Kenia Os, has revealed her upcoming musical projects in an interview on the YouTube channel “El Podcast del MOMENTO”. Among the most prominent plans, the Sinaloa-born artist expressed her desire to venture into the genre of corridos bélicos.
In the middle of the interview, Kenia expressed her love for corridos, banda and all regional Mexican music. She also mentioned that less than a year ago she released her first corrido titled “Mas Te Va a Doler”, which was well received, although she admits that it is not one of her hits and it is not her forte either.
However, the artist revealed that she has recently been in talks with Junior H, the singer of corridos tumbados for a possible collaboration. The two plan to meet in Los Angeles to work on this project, which Kenia hopes will strike a balance between corridos and pop, two genres she seeks to fuse in her music.
Kenia Os, whose full name is Kenia Guadalupe Flores Osuna, has gained popularity not only as a singer and songwriter, but also as a prominent figure in social networks and entrepreneur, she has her own makeup brand Kosbeauty. With this new incursion into corridos bélicos and her collaboration with Junior H, the artist seeks to expand her musical versatility and conquer new audiences.
