By Ricardo Lezama A Colombian political candidate for the state assembly of Antioquia was shown on social media apparently announcing and encouraging her followers to vote her into power. Catalina Jaramillo was the alleged sender of the video in which she encouraged her followers to vote her into the 74th Assembly of Antioquia.
The candidate mentions waking up with ‘multiple orgasms’ while also encouraging the recipients to maintain a positive attitude. At the end of the video, she can be observed giggling and cuddling with a gentleman, but the tone and content were surely not professional.
Cynical Ploy?
However, many online observers from the news press observe that there is potential for her to obtain more votes this way. Like a lower-case version of Kim Kardashian, perhaps, the video release was actually purposeful. The manner in which it was disseminated then quickly disavowed could have been a way to obtain more votes than she would otherwise have under normal circumstances.
