On Friday of last week (April 14, 2023), two distinct cases of Tubercolosis were reported in Riverside County and Oxnard.
The first involved a worker testing positive to a skin test for the diseases. This exposed nearly 180 workers in an Amazon warehouse setting.
More than 150 miles away, a middle school child at Palm Springs, California reported having the diseases in its inactive form. Since most people in the US are vaccinated for the disease, there is likely a low probability of the diseases fully breaking out on any US based person.
