Rebelde (RBD)
RBD, also known as Rebelde, was a successful Mexican pop band formed in 2004 as part of the telenovela Rebelde. Comprised of Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Christopher Uckermann, Christian Chávez and Alfonso Herrera, the band captured the hearts of millions of teenagers and gained international popularity.
RBD was formed as part of the storyline of the telenovela, where the young students decide to form a band to participate in a musical contest. RBD’s songs were written by Mexican composer Pedro Muñoz, and reflected the experiences and emotions of the characters in the story. However, they soon became a hit, transcending the screen and reaching millions of fans around the world.
However, in 2008, after four years of success and world tours, RBD announced their separation as a band. Since then, each of its members has gone their own way in music, film and television, with varying degrees of success. But RBD’s legacy lives on in the memory of their fans, who still remember them fondly and continue to listen to their songs.
