Mayor Goodman of Las Vegas initially proposed that these quarantine and stay-at home measures be lifted totally to allow Las Vegas to re-engage the economy.
Initially, the attempt to gather attention and support by Goodman could have gained momentum if enough elected officials in her world would pivot to her position. Instead, they ran for cover, with Nevada governor disagreeing with the need to open so soon and projecting empathy for lost lives in Nevada including Las Vegas.
