Thought the plight of endangered species is a noble and legitimate one, balancing out the current ecological system was not what Enrique Peña Nieto actually had in mind a few days ago when meeting with Leonardo Dicaprio. Proving life is stranger than fiction, Peña Nieto's son was later crticized on social media for boasting about his picture with Titanic's star actor, whose sense of dramatism was conveyed throughout his visit, urging for the Mexican president to make a temporary ban on gill fishing permanent. Though environmental groups criticize the band as a moot point - fishing of that sort was already largely abandoned - the 'Leonardo Dicrapio Foundation' is poised to help stabilize the labor market with a cash infusion from none other than Carlos Slim.

La Cartita -- Mexican federal police attacked the parents of the disappeared Ayotzinapa students earlier today. The parents were marching peacefully towards the 'SEGOB' (office of the Secretariat of the Interior), but were dispersed forcefully by the Mexican federal police in Paseo Reforma. The attacks on the parents highlight the PRI's defensiveness on the issue of their investigation on the case of the 43. Tomorrow, April 26, marks the 31st month since the students were kidnapped by municipal police, and other Mexican government security forces.
