Toker from Brownside Passes Away, Announces Family.

La Cartita, Rosarito, Baja California (13/10/2018) -- The family of Gilbert Izquierdo, better known as Toker from Brownside, announced on social media that the famed rapper and social commentator had passed the night of October 10, 2018.

Izquierdo, who was unlikely to have been over 50, left behind a wife and a young child, Little Toker, who had himself launched a series of singles. The boy was starting to take off in the footsteps of his father.

A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, Toker's talent for story telling was incorporated into Eazy E's famed 'Ruthless Records' during the early 1990's. A series of deaths derailed that project, but Toker was able to revive the brand with quite a buzz in the past three years.

This past week, internet users have awashed social media platforms and comment sections with rumors about how Toker passed.

Toker: donated time, energy and money to righteous causes

Toker was a serial philanthropist. When a devastating earthquake struck Mexico City, his Brownside camp and him gathered over 30 thousand dollars to donate in food and supplies to those affected. A benefit concern was held in Mexico City.

As usual, the government did little to avail the many victims, but Toker managed to gather a small fortune. This was his usual mode of operation. He would frequently use his platform to crowdsource financing for worthy causes. He was good with numbers, finances, etc.

Rumors appear partially confirmed by family.

Toker is alleged to have been killed by random accounts online that claim picking up on the information in local newspapers. Regardless, Klever opted to present the issue as a learning experience. Using the death of his brother as an example for the consequences of leading a life with ties to the illicit economy in Mexico.

While there are rumors about the exact details of Toker's passing, Klever, the brother of Gilber Izquierdo, noted that up to 30 men were sent to intercept Toker. No additional details were provided by the family.

Despite the tragedy, Toker left an undeniable mark on the world, the cause of envy for his enemies and pride for his Brownsiders, as he like to call listeners of his music.

With the statements from Toker's brother, Klever, it seems like the end was violent in nature. However, we can not substantiate completely those rumors circulating online since no statement declaring the cause of death has been issued.
