Jim Jordan, a US Congressman (Republican, Ohio, 4th District), is accused of ignoring sexual molestation.
A report from NBC News relays allegations from former OSU students that Jordan ignored common knowledge regarding a university team doctor who frequently abused students during medical exams. 3 former wrestlers said Dr. Richard Strauss showered with students and touched them inappropriately during appointments.
According to the accounts, Mr. Jordan, an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State from 1986 to 1994, must have known about the abuse. Students commonly, and, openly, spoke amongst themselves regarding Strauss’ abuse. n. Jordan has denied the allegations, but announced he would cooperate with an OSU probe into the matter.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Rep. Paul Ryan, the top-ranking Republican in Congress, has said they will await the results of the university investigation over these "serious allegations." One of the alleged victims has publicly identified themselves through the NBC report. Dunyasha Yetts, a captain of the wrestling team for the 1993-1994 season, said that he had confided in Mr. Jordan multiple times about "the way Strauss performed physicals on us."#whatwethinkisnews
